Costa Rica Flora

Costa Rica’s flora is not even nearly homogeneous. Due to its privileged geographical position in the continent, and the great variety of ecosystems, it presents a rather great variety of sorts. It is considered that there are more than 100.000 plant species considered superior, from the magnificent trees, -some of precious woods and in danger of extinction- to the exuberant orchids.
