Make the room preference specific
“Romantic” means different things to different couples. Describe whether privacy, a particular view, outdoor space or access to restaurants matters most. Ask for the actual room category and what is included when a real proposal is prepared. A photograph, a hotel name or a description of a destination does not confirm any of those details.
Special meals, flowers and spa appointments should appear as separate requests. Discuss alternatives in case a preferred experience cannot be arranged. Keep at least one part of the itinerary flexible so that an optional activity does not become an obligation.
