IPE (ee-pay) is the Indian name for the beautiful and majestic Tabebuia tree, whose bark yields the powerful medicinal Pao Díarco. And given the direction we wanted the farm to take, we found this was a most appropriate name. Finca Ipe was born of the dream to establish a self-sufficient and productive haven, removed from the pressures and pollution of industrialized society. Nurturing a lifestyle in harmony with nature and community is the vision of those of us who live and work here. To this end, we have dedicated much care and creative energy in planning, developing and managing the farm we love. We are totally committed to providing chemical-free, Biodynamicï¿½ produce - herbs, spices, medicinals, essential oils, and greens - in a sustainable and nurturing manner.
